RedKiteNFT has launched its ground-breaking ‘Humanity’ project on the Polygon blockchain, with 33 globally-renowned artists contributing to a total of 256 NFTs.
The ‘group NFT show’ is being curated by RedKite NFT and OurType to raise funds for UNICEF UK Children’s Emergency Fund, The Refugee Council and The Voices of Children Foundation. All profits from the NFT drop will go to the afore-mentioned charities.
Humanity features notable artists such as Ben Eine, Fanakapan, Pure Evil and Dalek and special guest curator DropHook.
This project marks the beginning of a series of exciting drops by RedKiteNFT as they unite the worlds of fine art and Web3.
James Robbins, CMO of RedKiteNFT said: “Humanity has been a voyage of discovery for us. The charities we’ve been working with have opened our eyes to the global refugee crisis and the amazing long-term support they provide.”
He continued: “It’s compelling motivation to try and pull something off on this scale, so early in our journey. The support and generosity of all the artists, partners and our discord community have been incredible. There’s a lot to be proud of, the artwork is spectacular and we hope to raise a significant amount to donate through this group show.”
A major catalyst for the show has been the Ukraine conflict, which has caused devastation to humanity and displaced millions of people from their homes.
RedKiteNFT intends to bring awareness to this and other nations stricken by conflict worldwide. They will be donating 25% of their 30% split to the charities. All collaborating artists will donate 35% with the voluntary option to donate more.
“I think the recent news has touched us all in some way, leaving us feeling somewhat helpless,” Angie Davey, Founder and Curator of RedKiteNFT said. “As with any global crisis, artists are some of the first to get involved to help out, and as an NFT platform with access to these artists and a means to raise funds, RedKite made the quick decision to put on Humanity, to aid refugee charities.”

All the NFT artwork is available to view on the Humanity campaign site and listed for sale on the redkitenft.io marketplace.

From the RedKiteNFT Discord channel, verified Humanity NFT holders, including those with a RedKite thank you NFT, will have access to the private HUMANITY Discord channel. In this channel, there will be regular promotions with the collaborating artists to reward investors’ charity support.
